- We use descriptive alt attributes for photos.
- We have added a “jump to recipe” links on every recipe post, so it is easy for all users to find important content fast.
- We have increased the font on our website to 18pt.
Areas for improvement and time-lines
There are some areas on the website where we must improve accessibility.I hope that this website will achieve “Level AA” conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 by December 2020.
Images: We are consistently working on updating the alt-text descriptions of the photos in all posts on this site. We hope to have improved the accessibility of all the photos in all posts by December 2020. If you have problems reading the photos please send a message to christin@veggiechick.com
Audit: VeggieChick.com will be performing an audit on this site (as the site was recently updated as of June 2020), to identify goals and priorities for areas needing improvement.
