This miso peanut sauce is a quick and easy way to add bold, savory flavor to your meals. Made with peanut butter, miso, and a few simple ingredients, it’s creamy, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced with a hint of tang and spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons sweet red chile sauce
  • 1/4 cup natural unsalted peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust consistency with water if needed.
  • Serve or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • *This recipe makes about 3/4 cup total, or 4 (3 tablespoon) servings. *I added black sesame seeds to the photo to make it look pretty but this step is not necessary.
  • This sauce stores well in the fridge and can be made ahead for meal prep.
