Refreshing Turmeric Green Tea Smoothie, made with matcha green tea powder and packed with healthy ingredients.

This smoothie is one I’ve been wanting to make for quite some time. The first time I had a green tea smoothie was when I was living in Hawaii and I ordered the Matcha Green Tea Smoothie from Jamba Juice…and yum. I was hooked. From there, I tried the Green Tea Frappucino at Starbucks and double yum!

And so, this smoothie was born. I also love the fact it has turmeric in it. Turmeric is actually a root, ground into a powder, and it has SO many health benefits.

How to make this Green Tea Smoothie:

To make this smoothie, all you need is a good blender. Add in all the ingredients, blend it up, and you have yourself an amazingly refreshing breakfast or healthy snack.

Turmeric Green Tea Smoothie (Vegan, Gluten Free)

This refreshing Turmeric Green Tea Smoothie is made with matcha green tea powder and packed with healthy ingredients.

  • 1/2 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 dates, pitted (or 12 teaspoons maple syrup)
  • 710 ice cubes (depending on thickness preferred)


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth.

  • I am totally making this tomorrow! But it needs fresh cracked pepper for the turmeric to work! So I’ll add a titch of that and it will be a perfect drink!! Thank You!!!
